With the right peel-off mask, you can also get rid of the blackheads and make your skin radiant (plus, it is a satisfying experience). There are several peel-off masks available in the market but, let’s be honest, they are expensive. Also, these masks can contain chemical and other synthetic ingredients, which may not be suitable for your skin. You can make your own peel-off mask at home with natural ingredients. Here are some DIY peel-off masks you can use to deep clean your skin.


Activated charcoal and gelatin


Activated charcoal mask

Activated charcoal will pull out blackheads, dirt, whiteheads and dead cells from your skin. It also helps in reducing wrinkles and fine lines

You will require: Half a teaspoon of activated charcoal, half a teaspoon of unflavored gelatin and distilled water

Method: Take charcoal in a bowl and add the gelatin. Then, add warm distilled water and mix well. Now, apply this mixture to your face using a brush. Avoid applying the mixture too close to your eyes and on eyebrows. Let it dry and then apply another layer of the paste to thicken the mask. Once the mask is dry, start peeling it off in an upward direction. Start with your chin and work your way upwards. Once the mask is off, wash the tiny particles remaining on your face.

Honey and milk

Honey and milk peel-off mask will give you glowing skin. Milk act as a cleanser and honey moisturizes your skin.

You will require: Two tablespoons of milk, one tablespoon of honey and cotton strips.

Method: Take milk in a bowl and add the honey. Warm it and mix them well to make a thick paste. Apply this mixture on your face and let it dry. Apply two more coats of the mixture and place thin cotton strips over the mixture. Leave it for 20 minutes to dry. Then, peel off the strip in an upward direction.

Orange and gelatin


Orange and gelatin mask

Orange and gelatin mask will give you an instant glow. It will also keep your skin looking healthy and young. Gelatin promotes the growth of healthy skin cells. The mask will reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

You will require: Four tablespoons of orange juice and two tablespoons of unflavored gelatin.

Method: Take a heat-resistant bowl and put the gelatin and orange in it. Make a double boiler to heat the mixture. Let the gelatin dissolve and then take it off the flame. Let the mixture cool down a bit. Apply this warm mixture on your face using a brush. Let it dry and then apply two more coats of the mixture to thicken it. Let the mask dry before you pull it off. Wash your face to remove tiny bits of the mask.

These peel-off masks will deep clean and remove the dead skin to reveal radiant skin. Use this regularly and see the difference.
